Lately, I’ve taken in a lot of plants.
Healthy, vibrant, plants have really added to the calm that I need. Not the idea of peace that I desired, but the feeling of taking care of, and being taken care of; the feeling that everything is okay.

I am candidly still thinking this concept through. The scene I am painting is quiet, nothing short of a thankfully forgotten piece of the forest that was able to grow lush with greenery, reds, oranges, and ample fungi.
